We are surrounded by artifacts.
This collection began as a collaboration based on common curiosity and intrigue. We were drawn to these little artifacts as we saw them abandoned around the city and needed to gather and document them, to put them in the light.
These weaves are pieces of culture, artifacts of the human existence, the female existence. We shed our skin, we shed our hair, we grow, we morph, and in the end, we shed our bodies. Along the way, we might stop and look closely and observe these scattered bits of ourselves left behind.
